Join us Saturday morning, December 12, for The Caregiversby Nancy Temple.
The Caregivers focuses on the tangled relationships of three women: Ruth, mother of Louise, and Patti. They manipulate and betray one another to serve their own interests, and suffer as a result. It is a play about unacknowledged limitations, meanness, compromise, incompetence – but also about vulnerability and the need for love. You’ll see what happens when the three women – each with a different agenda – collide.
The reading is directed by Arlene Barnard. The actors are Leslie Aisner, Dina Crawford, and Jennifer Wilson.
Nancy Temple has been involved in the arts all her life, as a tapestry weaver, design teacher, and space planner. She has had several short plays performed at festivals. The audience is invited to participate in a talkback session to help the playwright develop the play.
