For adult contemporary music artist Christine Elise, a life in music was clearly in the cards. The granddaughter of Italian opera singer Luigi Vena (performed at the wedding and funeral of President John F. Kennedy), Christine was influenced early on by the likes of Anne Murray, Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. Since then, she has delved into a myriad of genres and has developed her unique intimate vocal style with a sound that encompasses both innocence and sultriness. Christine has performed throughout the Boston area, including the city’s popular Custom House, and has also taken the stage alongside Robby Fontana at the “Blood: Water Mission” fundraiser at the Montage in Beverly Hills.
